Mikhael Subotzky | darkness on the edge of town
Magnum photographer Mikhael Subotzky has really grown on me, at first I really did’nt get the excitement around his work but the more I have come back to it the more I enjoy it. Just like 99 Bananas! The above images are from Subotzky’s Beaufort West series, photographed in small Karoo desert town in South Africa, which has recently been added to MoMA’s permanent collection of photography.
